Joan is responsible for overseeing the creative expression and messaging for WWF Tanzania across all media and advertising channels, ensuring WWF remains the most recognized and loved conservation brand in Tanzania. 
 
A communications personality, Joan has been a TV and radio presenter and journalist, media mentor and coach and a media management trainer. With an  experience of over 20 years she has served on both for profit and non-profit organizations in Tanzania.
 
Before joining WWF, Joan worked with BBC Media Action as a senior mentor and trainer on the areas of communications, media management and marketing. She previously worked as Assistant Lecturer at St. Augustine University in the areas of marketing, research, and advertising. She has vast experience in community and media communication campaigns and event management.
A people’s person Joan relates easily with people and is always ready to give a helping hand.
